Alison Knopf

Alison Knopf's first editorial assignment was founding editor of Substance Abuse Report, which she wrote for 17 years. She also was founding editor of Drugs in the Workplace, a newsletter for businesses that began during the drug-testing craze of the 1980s. She edited medical coding publications for 10 years as well.

Alison is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists. Her awards include first place for best interactive content from the Specialized Information Publishers Foundation, and several Apex awards, Newsletter on Newsletters awards, and awards from The American Society of Business Publication Editors.

Alison has been editor of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Weekly since 2005.

Gary Enos
Contributing Editor

Gary Enos has been reporting on developments in the mental health and addiction fields since 1994. He is the former executive editor of Manisses Communications Group, which published in these fields for 20 years.

Gary is a contributing writer for Mental Health Weekly, Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Weekly, and The Brown University Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology Update. Prior to his reporting and editing work in behavioral healthcare, he was a reporter for the Sun-Sentinel newspaper in South Florida and for City & State, a state and local government trade publication produced by Crain Communications.
